Since April 2009, I’ve had the opportunity to bring The Other Side of Immigration‘s message of empathy and understanding to over 100 colleges, universities, conferences, and events from coast to coast! My mission is to expose students the human side of immigration, inform them about immigration’s root causes, and inspire them to think more critically, creatively, and compassionately about this controversial issue.

Turn out for my events usually ranges between 100-250 people. The message of The Other Side of Immigration and my talks appeals to many professions and fields of study: Medicine, Public Health, Education, Social Work, Law, Sociology, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Latino/Latin American Studies, Mexican/Mexican-American Studies, American Studies, Anthropology, Business, Economics, Psychology, Engineering, Spanish Language and Literature, International Affairs, and Public Policy are just some of the departments that have co-sponsored my campus visits!
